ISHA Awarded ASHA Grant to Support New Website Initiative

Published in the March 2026 issue of the ISHA Voice.
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) recently announced that 29 state associations were awarded funding in this year’s grant cycle, an increase from 2025. These grants support innovative projects aimed at strengthening membership recruitment and retention, as well as enhancing the visibility of the speech-language pathology and audiology professions.
ASHA received a strong response to this year’s call for proposals, reflecting the ongoing commitment of state associations to grow and elevate the field. The selected initiatives represent a wide range of creative approaches, and ASHA looks forward to the insights and outcomes these projects will generate.
The Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) is proud to be among this year’s grant recipients. Funding will support the development of ISHA’s new website, an important step toward improving member engagement, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Congratulations to all participating state associations for their dedication to advancing the professions and strengthening their communities.
