Have questions about Continuing Education? Take a look at a few FAQs below.

Do I have to read it, or can I listen to the reviews and get credit?

You can listen or print the reviews, then go back and take the CE questions! At this time, these quiz questions are text-only, on our website. But they're also playable via any screen reader; contact us at communications@theinformedslp.com for further support.

What's required for course completion?

First, you’ll fill out a Reporting Info form so we have your ASHA ID and other information required to report to the ASHA CE Registry (or, you can select the box telling us you don’t need that). Then, after reading (or listening to) a review, you'll take a single quiz question. You'll have to do several of these (around 6, depending on word count) to earn 30 minutes of credit. Your credit will then be submitted/counted in 30-minute increments, rounded down. We will submit to ASHA CE and/or provide you a downloadable CE course certificate. If you track your own hours, the certificate is all you'll need.

Do you have anything to count toward ASHA's ethics or DEI requirements?

Yes, and we have new Ethics and DEI content all the time! At the top of www.theinformedslp.com/reviews: 1) Click the “CE Available” checkbox in the filters, then 2) Click “Credit Category” and DEI or Ethics. That will narrow our database to only what you need, and then you can proceed to read or listen to those reviews and answer questions. Note that we do not have Supervision hours at this time.
