ILLINOIS STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION Home Page   www.isbe.net
Look in middle column “Teachers/Administrators”, second section “Teachers A-Z”, click on “Educator Licensure”.  All the information you need should be found on this page.  If new to the state, or receiving a PEL for the first time, you will need to go through the application process > click on the applicable link under “Prospective Educators”.  Follow the directions.  You may need to go through a Transcript Review and take required tests.
