Know a colleague or friend that has stepped forward to make positive changes in your school, organization, or community? Nominate them before May 15th via our honors nomination form.

Select "Member Only Content."
Once you are logged into the "Member Only Content" section, please click on "Nominate a Peer for ISHA Honors" via the left-hand navigation tabs.

Submission Categories

Honors of the Association: ISHA Honors is the highest distinction made by the association and seeks to spotlight a practitioner from the ISHA College of Fellows who has served in their field for 15 years or more.

Illinois Clinical Achievement Award: Recognizing an individual's significant accomplishments in the advancement of clinical service in speech-language pathology and/or audiology, recipients are nominated by each state speech-language-hearing association to be considered for the ASHA Foundation Louis M. DiCarlo Award for Recent Clinical Achievement.

ISHA Fellows: ISHA Fellowship Awards recognize individuals who have been active in the profession and ISHA for at least five years and provided outstanding service within the profession and the state of Illinois.

Exemplary Practice Award: Recognizing exceptional clinical-based, school-based, academic, research, and/or leadership practices by Illinois SLPs or audiologists.

Award For Distinguished Contributions - Special Honors: This award shows appreciation for individuals, corporations, institutions, or businesses that have made a significant and unique contribution to the professions of audiology and/or speech-language pathology; to ISHA; or to persons who have, or who potentially might have, hearing losses, communicative disorders, or swallowing disorders.
