For Professionals:  2014 Annual ISHA Convention - Call for Presentations.  The deadline for submissions for the 2014 Annual ISHA Convention is June 1, 2013.

For Students:  2014 Annual ISHA Convention - Student Initiated Research & Clinical Applications (SIRCA) Call for Presentations.  The deadline for Student 15-minute Talk submissions is June 1, 2013.  The deadline for Student Poster sumbissions is September 1, 2013. 

SIRCA Proposals (talks or posters) must be submitted by June 1, 2013 in order to be considered for a SIRCA Award.  Any proposals received after this date will not be considered.

Entries will be judged by the adequacy of literature review, significance of question/hypothesis, soundness of methodology, clarity of data/results, interpretation of results, and limitations.  The award will consist of $300.00 and a certificate for the student researcher(s). The monetary prize will be divided among the award recipients in the event that there are multiple student presenters for the winning project. The award will be presented during the annual business meeting held at Convention.  Presentations must be presented in the time slot and format suggested by the Program Committee.

The Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association is an ASHA approved CE Provider.  It is the policy of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association to ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all CE courses.  Therefore, in accordance with ASHA mandates, the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association requires that all individuals involved in developing and delivering course content to be offered for ASHA CEUs disclose relevant financial and nonfinancial relationship(s) by completing the Instructional Personnel Relationship Disclosure Form.  If potential conflict of interest is identified, the Continuing Education Administrator will contact the presenter to attempt to understand how the relationship may influence the content of the course and decide appropriate actions. Individuals who refuse to complete the disclosure form will not have proposals reviewed.  The Instructional Personnel Relationship Disclosure included in Call for Presentations process must be completed and included with all Submissions.

The Online CEU process for the 2013 Annual ISHA Convention is now closed.  The deadline for reporting ASHA CEUs was 5:00 pm Central Time, on Monday, March 4, 2013.  

2013 Speaker Handouts

2013 Speaker Conflict of Interest Disclosure - Is a list of presenters who have identified a financial or nonfinancial conflict of interest associated with their presentation.  If a presenter is not listed, they have indicated that they do not have a financial or nonfinancial conflict of interest to disclose.

2013 Annual Convention Brochure - Convention Brochures will be automatically mailed to all ISHA members in late October/early November.  If you are not an ISHA member and would like to receive a printed copy of the brochure please send your request to: membership@ishail.org.

Early Intervention Credentialing Credit -  The complete list of approved sessions along with the EI Certificate of Attendance form will be included in the packet you will receive at Registration Check-In.
